Fantastic Family Animation Day: Make a Fox Film
A unique chance to work with an experienced animator to create your own family stop-motion animation. You’ll immerse yourself into the whimsical world of Fantastic Mr Fox in this full-day workshop.
Perfect for adults and children alike, this workshop invites families to roll up their sleeves, get creative with clay, and bring their own quirky characters to life.
You’ll start by gathering inspiration from the Museum galleries where you’ll see Roald Dahl’s Writing Hut and an original set from the Wes Anderson’s 2009 Fantastic Mr Fox film. You’ll then design and sculpt clay creatures, create miniature sets, and learn the magic of stop-motion filmmaking. Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate, experiment, and capture your story frame by frame — culminating in a charming short film to treasure and share with your family for years to come.
Whether you’re imagining mischievous foxes, clever woodland animals, or entirely new creatures, this workshop is one-of-a-kind cinematic experience for the whole family.
For children aged 8 to 12 only and their accompanying adults
£65 per child, includes one free adult. One adult required for every two children.
