Grown-up Gathering
For age 18+ only
Why let the kids have all the fun? Grown-ups, it’s YOUR turn to experience the Museum! Join us for a special seasonal late-night event where you’ll get to explore the galleries — with a glass of wine in your hand, obviously.
Take your time reading displays, try out all the interactive activities and take part in some special drop-in crafts set up just for you. As the evening progresses you can embrace your inner child with a fun clay workshop based on Roald Dahl’s love of food and wine (no, you can’t eat your clay creation, but you will get to enjoy a mince pie or two). You can join in with one of our popular storytelling sessions where you’ll get to make all the noise for once! Our Collections Manager, Will, will be on hand to answer any questions you might have while you explore.
Don’t forget to pop into the shop while you’re here for exclusive discounts and offers.
Bring your friends, bring your partner – but don’t bring any rotsome children!
“Children are maggots.” Miss Trunchbull.
