Sculpt a pelican mouth out of clay! Use marvellous techniques to mould your special pelican bucket, perfect for keeping all sorts of sweets and trinkets in. You’ll learn about how Roald developed the character then have a go at making your own. Get stuck in with clay and get your hands dirty. Your creation will just need air to dry, and we’ll clear up the mess – win, win!

Discover some of the animals in Roald Dahl books on this guided family walk. Be on the lookout for fictional pheasants, fox’s tunnels and even a lion or two – all bought to life with some storytelling from Roald’s stories and life!

Come face-to-face with some heroic minibeasts and bugs. We’ll be joined by Jungle Juniors who will tell you all about the animals’ wondrous ways and teach you some fascinating facts. You‘ll learn about some fascinating bugs and get up close to a range of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates — including some that feature in Roald Dahl’s stories.
